Steven and Keri spent the evening with Jimmy, Tammy, Justin, John, Janel, Baden, Will, and Corinne. We ate hot dogs that were grilled on Steven's portable grill, climbed Pinnacle, played on the playground, tossed the football and played croquet.. It was a fun evening! Steven and Keri on top of Pinnacle Mountain. We made it up in 19 minutes just by walking! I guess that makes it not seem like that much of a mountain.....Mountain must be relative to what is around it.....
Arkansas has a lot of natural beauty going for her. Steven grew up on the road going up the big hill on the left of this photo. Steven also proposed to Keri on the banks of Maumelle Lake off in the distance. I feel truly blessed to have grown up in such a beautiful place.
A profile view of the butterfly. Has anyone else seen a profile except in biology where there are dozens pinned to a bulletin board? Kind of funny looking creatures aren't they?
Ok, I thought it was really cool that we saw a butterfly this close. Ironically, we almost stepped on a few caterpillars on the way down...what a shame that would be if we actually did!
Steven at the top of Pinnacle Mountain on the East Summit. Maumelle Lake is in the background.
Keri got some new chacos about a month ago and is loving them. The color/pattern that she has is a unique color/pattern that was designed by Ozark Outfitters. Ozark Outfitters buys so many chacos per year from Chaco Co. that they get the privilege of creating their own shoe! Pretty Cool! Keri also got them 40% off....exciting!
